Software Developer (e-Docs/Hummingbird DM)

Purpose of Position:
Work in a dynamic team designing, developing and maintaining highly
scalable multi tier applications. All of the projects involved have
performance and stability requirements, thus a great importance is
placed on code quality and thoroughness in design. The work includes
MS Office integrations, Outlook and Notes integrations as well as
other desktop features. WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING TO FILL 6 POSITIONS.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Need to be familiar with:
Server: Dcom/com/windows/C++/C/ATL/MFC
Client: MAPI, Outlook Office Integrations/macro, MSMQ/MSFT tech/OS/
ODMA. Need to be familiar with eDocs and Livelink.MUST BE FAMILIAR
WITH TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION…
• Develop and re-factor code for high performance and scalability.
• Participate in the design and implementation of applications
spanning multiple components and processes.
• Receive direction from the development and site manager.
• Provide assistance to other developers on-site and off-site.
• Provide assistance to customer support, documentation and quality
assurance as needed.
• Participate in the software development process from design to
release to ensure that everything done is coordinated to solve a
customer problem.
Position Requirements

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of analysis, design and programming experience.
• Experience working with Development teams, Quality Assurance, and
Product Support to deliver production quality code in a business
environment.
• Experience with ATL/MFC MAPI, Outlook and Office Integrations.
• Excellent ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Strong Experience with C++ on Windows and UNIX.
• Strong Experience with Java technologies.
• Experience with SQL, NSMQ, Oracle and MS-SQL
• Experience with XML, XSL and Web Services.
• Experience developing and debugging software on various operating
systems (Windows, Linux, and UNIX).
• Familiar with scalable system design.
• Windows shell extensions
• Familiar with source code control systems (CVS, Perforce, etc.)
• Familiar with multi-lingual support (Unicode)
• Excellent inter-personal skills.
• Positive and professional attitude.
