Required Skills - Highly experienced IT professional with proven
experience in analysis, design and development of Back Office
Operations applications.
- Technical and/or functional experience in a software development
life cycle or multi-national financial function.
- Excellent programming and unit testing skills in a wide variety of
languages and environments.
- Strong Working experience with Java, Sybase, VB.NET,C+,C++,C#
- Derivatives and back office process and procedures knowledge or
strong Securities background.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Strong understanding of operating systems. (WIN2K)
- Meticulous with work details and deliverables.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with
personnel at all levels within the organization, as well as outside
vendors/contacts.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to provide support (overnight/weekends) in a rotating on-
call shift environment and to provide remote support.
- Very strong team and service partner orientation.

Preferred Skills Working experience with Back Office applications in
securities industry.
Experience with the Power Builder application would be an asset.

Position Overview
The Back Office Applications group has an opening for a talented
Technical Systems Analyst/Developer to join their team and contribute
to their success. This position requires an individual with good
communication and analytical skills, excellent customer support skills
and the ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks, both
long and short term.
Incumbent will be responsible for application/technical support and
maintenance, assisting in design and development of systems,
solutions, system specifications, and assisting with documentation,
analysis and system enhancement requests. Plans and executes projects/
initiatives for user requests; over time has a very strong technical
understanding of the Workflow and Infinity Back Office applications
and can anticipate the impact that a user request may have on the
system, and any inter-related applications. Ensures documentation,
coding, testing, and release procedures follow established policies
for software quality. Promotes the use of SDLC for project management.
