Labview Development Specialist (6 month contract)

The Mergis Group has an immediate need for a Labview Development
Specialist.

Our client, a major producer of Optical technologies, is currently
looking for a contractor to work as a Labview Development Specialist.

The candidate we are seeking has a good testing background and
excellent experience with the Labview tools.

Primary duties will include:

Update, improve, develop and document LabVIEW automation used to test
the company's products. Depending upon available time and the
candidates skills, other tasks directly or indirectly associated with
testing the company's products will be possible.



Required Qualifications
- Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science degree
- 5 years programming experience using LabVIEW. Must have experience
with LabVIEW version 8.
- ability to learn new areas
- excellent interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- previous experience in Test Engineering designing manufacturing/
production tests would be an asset
- previous experience testing complicated circuit packs would be an
asset
- previous hardware debugging and verification skills would be an
asset
