Location: Edmonton
Duration: 3 years
Responsibilities may include:
- prepare test plans defining the scope, objectives and schedules for
testing business applications during the business application life
cycle;
- consult with business representatives, development analysts,
business
clients and others to identify business testing requirements and
schedules;
- provide training to business testers in the testing methodology,
procedures and tools used to perform acceptance testing;
- working with business clients, facilitate the creation of test
coverage,
test cases and test data;
- plan resource requirements and usage (test databases, scheduling,
etc.)
with the Acceptance Testing Team Lead and the acceptance Testing
Technical
Support Analyst;
- work with the Acceptance Testing Technical Analyst to prepare the
test
environment;
- lead the test execution phase of user acceptance testing;
- consult with business representatives to resolve issues and to
clarify
testing requirements when necessary;
- work with business application developers and business testers to
manage
system defects and changes;
- ensure that testing standards and procedures are maintained within
the
group and within programs supplied by the business applications
development
group;
- provide on-call support for business applications as required;
- liaise with stakeholder representatives from the Client, if needed;
and
- travel to and work in Calgary as required.
